Kate Moureaux is located in Moorpark, CA and owns DrivenDogs Agility where she teaches agility
full time.

Kate was first introduced to Border Collies in 1989, by her mother, Karen Moureaux and her first
Border Collie named Dallas. Since Dallas, Kate has grown up with multiple Border Collies in the
family, and in 1999 received one of her own.

In June 1999, Kate received her first Border Collie, Contact Point Thinks Quick, from her mother.
With Quick, Kate was able to achieve many great accomplishments such as,
  • 2006 AKC National Agility Champion, 20" division
  • 2006 IFCS USA World Team Member (Netherlands) earning 2 Gold & 3 Silver Medals
  • Numerous trips to the USDAA Grand Prix, DAM, and Steeplechase Finals
  • Competed at the ESPN Great Outdoor Games
  • Numerous other top placements  in individual classes at National events

Quick's first litter produced Kate's second Border Collie, Contact Point's Driven To Win, who has
also achieved much success,
  • 2008 AKC National Agility Champion, 16" division
  • 2008 IFCS USA World Team Member (Belgium) earning a Silver Medal
  • 2009 AKC National Agility Championships, 16" division, 3rd place
  • Numerous trips to the USDAA Grand Prix and DAM Finals
  • Numerous other top placements in individual classes at National events

Through Quick and Driven's strengths and weaknesses, Kate has been able to shape her vision
for her Border Collies. Kate believes in excellent structure and temperament first and then a
winning combination on personality and drive. Kate wants her dogs to be amazing competitive
dogs, but also great family members. Excel Border Collies should Excel at LIFE.

At this time, Kate and her border collies primarily compete in Agility, but also compete from time to
time in Herding, Rally, and Conformation.
