Zasu, another accomplished daughter of Smart, is the pride and joy of her owner, Miki Shannon. As Miki’s first sport-focused Border Collie, Zasu has proven to be an excellent partner and athlete in all sports. According to Miki, Zasu is like owning ten dogs rolled into one. She is an amazing dog who runs her heart out in all venues.
Zasu stands out as one of a select group of Border Collies to earn the American Kennel Club’s Agility, Rally, and Herding Championship titles—an impressive testament to her versatility, biddability, and drive. Beyond her championship titles, Zasu holds additional titles in Obedience, Drafting, and Tricks, showcasing her well-rounded abilities and eagerness to excel in any discipline.
Outside of dog sports, Zasu is a lovely companion who enjoys relaxing on the sofa, watching television and swimming in the pool. Not only does Zasu partner well with other dogs in team events, she gets along well with the other dogs in the household and the odd collection of outdoor feral cats. The Fix Nation cat trapper refers to Zasu as “Chill”. Zasu has an outgoing personality that lights up every room she enters and continues to add to her fan base both in and outside the ring.
